Dear Wolverine Fans,    

Welcome to the first varsity football season for the West Forsyth Wolverines.  My staff and I are excited about the 2008 season.  We will be playing in a traditionally tough Region.  This Region has many great teams that have a great tradition.  Being that this is our first true varsity season, we hope that we can come out and compete on the varsity level.  Many of our teams at West competed last year as a varsity and did very well.  The young men on the football team have been looking forward to this for a long time. 

Getting a chance to play for the playoffs in the state of Georgia is truly an honor that I feel blessed to be part of.  The football in this state is unbelievable.  We will face great teams each week that have many great players and excellent coaching.  We will employ a multiple Wing T to try and score points against out opponents.  We will use an aggressive attacking multiple 40 defense.  Our special teams will be sharp and inventive. 

Remember these are young men playing this game and they are trying as hard as they can to be successful.  Please give them your full support as they work throughout the season.  Please          encourage those who may be a back up to keep working hard and be ready when their opportunity arises.  We will try our best to make you proud to be a Wolverine football fan.
